Grand Teatret, Copenhagen

The Grand Teatret is located at Mikkel Bryggers Gade 8, Copenhagen K. It opened as the Empire Biograf in 1913 and was originally constructed as the concert room of the Palace Hotel, being located at the rear of that building. Designed by architect Anton Rosens who designed the Art Nouveau style hotel.

Modernised in 1939, in 1976, extra screens were added in adjoining spaces. The main original auditorium now seats 326.
