Empire Theatre, Brooklyn, NYC

Located at 10 Ralph Avenue in the Bushwick district of Brooklyn, New York City. The Empire Theatre opened in 1908 as a Vaudeville/Burlesque theatre. The architect was Herbert Brewster and it had a seating capacity of 1,810.

 

It went over to screening movies from 1938 and continued until 1953. For many years since closure it has been in use as a church.
