Loew's Metropolitan Theatre, Brooklyn, NY

A scan from a photograph I took of the original facade of the building in 1998 It had been closed for 2 years as Cineplex Odeon quad cinema, and it would be later re-faced and re-opened as the Brooklyn Tabernacle in 2000, reconverted into a single auditorium.


Located at 392 Fulton Street, Brooklyn, NY, the architect was Thomas W. Lamb. It opened on 15th September 1918 and had a seating capacity of 3,580. Equipped with a Moller theatre organ. It was divided into 4-screens and closed in July 1996.
