It's All Go
It's August. Which means: traffic sucks, idiot tourists aimlessly wander the streets, and senseless noise abounds at all hours. For many central Edinburgh residents, the Festival(s) is a time of headache and frustration. Yet even during the most trying month of the year, I still cannot help but be head over heels in love with this city. Posh and polished or dirty and dingy, Edinburgh is alive, so full of character, and offers a memory on every corner.
This is a new angle on a familiar section of Old Town from the section of South Bridge that passes over the Cowgate, only a mere stones throw from the more glamorous angles I have photographed before. Two horizontal 30 second frames stitched to produce a larger image, then cropped to a 5x4 format. This photo is a compositional nightmare, but I enjoyed the view enough to post it up anyway.
