Arthur's View

From 820 feet on top of Arthur's Seat, the summit of an extinct volcano found in Holyrood Park, located near the centre of Edinburgh. In the foreground are the Salisbury Crags, more rock formations at the edge of urban density. Nearly every iconic structure or landmark of Edinburgh can be seen in this frame, with only a few exceptions. City centre is only a mile away, the bridges stand 10 miles away, and the peaks in the far background are 30 miles away. It is a breathtaking view, of which I've only managed to capture a small portion. For reference, check out a 360-degree panorama found on Wikipedia: here.

No long exposure here. Shocking, I know. However, it is a 4-vertical-frame panoramic stitched together to create a very wide view. I encourage you to check out the original resolution that measures 7521 x 5640, as it's the only way to really see into the city.
