Usher Hall Staircase
Usher Hall was one of the venues that benefited from the annual Edinburgh Doors Open Day in which local architectural and cultural treasures are opened to the public for a short while at no charge. This concert hall's south staircase also has benefited from a recent modernist renovation as seen here. The LED light cylinder structure is suspended from a window in the ceiling, and hangs a couple feet over the bottom of the floor - pretty slick.
No filters or long exposures used here. Maximum tilt (+12) used for mild interesting effect, no shift used. Focal point is mid-way down the staircase.
