Rhomboid Farewell-to-Spring

Clarkia rhomboidea. I think "forest clarkia" might be a more common vernacular name, but c'mon! Rhomboid farewell-to-sring is way too hilarious not to use. "Tongue clarkia" is a very, very close second. This photo doesn't do much for me, but it's a new-for-me clarkia! One that I sadly thought was a mustard at first. Thought so much I even said, out loud, "Hey, what's this weird mustard?" Botany fail. I still maintain that it looks a bit like sea rocket.
