Day 251 - Two's Company
I think it is safe to say that I've had my dog quotient today. We'd stayed the weekend with my wife's family and they, for several years, have helped train Guide Dogs For The Blind puppies. In the last few years they've switched to training dogs to detect low blood sugar levels in diabetics, such as my father-in-law. What this means is that the house tends to be full of dogs (4 at the moment) and this afternoon we had 2 more from my stepsister. My mother-in-law had made a request for pictures of the various dogs (at one time to have them all together in one shot, which was a request that was immediately discounted as nuts since none of them really stay still for long). These two characters are the two extras brought over today, Poppy and Chase. I'm thinking that with the new D600 and the 70-200mm f/2.8 that an aperture of f/4 focused on the keys doesn't give quite enough of a depth of field, although it has rendered the background nicely diffused. I may have to try something more around the f/8 mark and focus towards the nose to try and get both that an the eyes in focus.
