I'm reading your pattern, and I don't understand this part........

p1 (c1f [p into the new right stitch, k into the new left stitch], c1b [k into the new right stitch, p into the new left stitch] ) repeat cabling until 1 stitch left, p1

What does 'new right stitch, and new left stitch' mean?
Do you mean, when you put the one stitch onto a cable needle, then the one remaining of those two is your 'new' right stitch, and the one on the cable needle is the 'new' left stitch?

I love the looks of this and want to make it to cover my upper arms when I wear tanks !
      It is SO GORGEOUS !

      Please help me understand !

I know that part seems confusing. I'll try to clarify it more on the pattern page.

I knitted it all the way through, and I must tell you, this is a very clear pattern, now !

Unfortunately, I had to frog mine.........basically I knew from the beginning that the yarn was all wrong that I was using, but I JUST REALLY WANTED to knit this pattern.

I am so excited to knit this right up. I'm away from home (including my needles and stash) but I have the perfect yarn for this! I am completely in love with this pattern and I plan on making more than one! Thanks!

Finding the sizing to be confusing. What size did you make yours? I am looking to make a 38" bust. Any suggestions or helpful hints would be wonderful. Love the pattern!

Measure your shoulder span. It's not about your bust, it's about the width of your shoulders plus sleeve length.

geldmyertir...I guess you could alter this pattern on the ribbing portion and make it longer but your collar would be a lot bigger than in the image. That would allow you to have more coverage over you bust line. I hope this helps some:)
