This lovely fountain is a big attraction at the Chicago Botanical Garden. The sun kept going in and out of the clouds but I wanted to catch this when the sun was shining "just enough" to light up the streams of water shooting up. Took me several shots to catch this moment but it was worth it. The clouds were amazing and the sunlit water streams against the grey cloudy backdrop was just the look I was going for.
This garden is the most spectacular place I have ever been. I was on sensory overload most of the time and even though there were hundres of people there, I didnt notice. I am a people watcher, too!! But, there was so much to photograph, in every square inch of this place, my eyes were focused on the photo opps. But this fountain was my main catch. I wanted this shot so bad, and I got it :-)
It was so much fun to meet up with other flickr members and enjoy this place. I had a great time! We plan to do a another flickr meetup for the fall season. With all the different trees throughout this 300+ acre garden, the colors are going to be amazing.
Have a wonderful Sunday everyone!!
