HP clear cases, prototypes and rare stuff
Hewlett Packard often produced a few of the early model calculators with a clear casing. This was done (so i'm told) so that the engineers and designers could see all the internal workings of the calculator back in the days before 3D CAD. The clear cases were also used to test the molds for the cases - any bubbles or imperfections that formed were easier to spot.
There are often subtle differences between the clear cased version and the final production run.
Clear HP cases are extremely rare - I feel very lucky to have found this many in my collection journey.
This set also includes some rare prototypes and 'one-off' experiments by HP staff. Enjoy!!
