1850's Silk Coat and Bonnet made for Cecile or Marie-Grace

1850's silk Coat and Bonnet made to fit 18" American Girl dolls. This beautiful silk ensemble is made from a customer provided brownish gold silk and features hand applied black soutache trim. The coat has a fitted bodice and gathered skirting. It is fully lined with ivory cotton. It fastens at the bodice with three tabs featuring little black square shaped buttons. The bonnet has a shaped brim edged in self fabric ruffles. It is lined with ivory cotton and has an inside row of ivory lace to frame the face. It fasten with black ribbon ties under the chin.

    Absolutely stunning! What a talent you have! I'm sure Cecile would have worn this ensemble! The detail work is gorgeous and the bonnet is one of the best I've seen- just the right amount of embelishment.
