21.09.12 TWW Cardiff. St. Philip Evans Primary School in Chapelwood Woods with Chapelwood Res Fed
The thirteen of us cleared out Chapelwood woods of litter totalling 10 bags (2 recycling). Pupils & staff from St. Philip Evans RC Primary School joined local resident David to help tidy up these woods.

The most impressive part of this is since we started working with St. Philip Evans Primary School, the amount of litter has dropped considerably in these woodlands. The same event last year (Sep 2011) with St. Philip Evans pulled out 37 bags of rubbish and over 100 kg of larger items. In the February of 2011, with a group of volunteers from BT, we pulled out 35 bags of rubbish and 1/2 tonne of other rubbish. So, down to just 10 bags is a brilliant improvement.
