Photograph of high water on the Connecticut River in 1888 in Bellows Falls Vermont. Shown is a double span covered railroad bridge. This railroad bridge was just up river from the Tucker Toll Bridge. The view is looking down river with NH on the left. The pier that can be seen under the left span is the toll bridge. The four white columns seen over the bridge on the right are on the Island House which was a famous hotel on the island.
