Andalucia 2011 - Seville - Maria Luise Gardens - Pabellon Mudeja
The Maria Luise Gardens in Seville are a must visit. The Gardens are luxuriant and varied and also house the Pavilions of all the countries who took part in the 1929 Ibero American Exhibition. Spain had lost its income from its Empire and this had hit Seville particularly badly. This extensive and flambouyant exhibition was an attempt to increase trade.
This is the Pabellon Mudeja designed by the architect responsible for the whole site - Anibal Gonzales.
