Stephanie Fox Knappe - July 31, 2013

Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art curator of American Art Stephanie Fox Knappe came to the Plaza Branch of the Kansas City Public Library to discuss the museum’s exhibit: Frida Kahlo, Diego Rivera and Masterpieces of Modern Mexico from the Jacques and Natasha Gelman Collection.

Never before seen in this region, the exhibit encompasses paintings, sculpture, photographs, drawings, and prints dating from 1915 to 2005. It honors the rich artistic traditions of Mexico’s past and the vitality of Mexican art today.
