Finnby Console Redux
This idea came from an old Katie Brown segment on the Style Network (click to watch youtube upload) I saw five or six years ago. She had a vintage bread ad copied into a large piece of vinyl at Kinkos and then used spray adhesive to mount it to the front of a cabinet.
I went the el cheapo route and used www.blockposters.com/ to make the large image, cut and taped each piece together, laminated the paper to fuse it, cut it to size and then taped it to the IKEA console.
I waited until the poster was mounted before I cut the vertical lines for each door. Although the seams are a little more obvious now, initially they weren't.
