Silhouette at Sunset
Part of "MY BEST" Set, a collection of Images that I feel represent my skill as a Photographer, as well as reveal my eye for picking good quality Images. View more of MY BEST here.
This Sunday drive was wonderful. We started home at 5:00 am, and drove along East Coast Road to Pondicherry. What normally takes about 2 hours one way, took us 8 hours one way, and 5 hours on the return. Just a few gigabytes of photograph made all the difference.
Yesterday I posted a sunrise shot. Today I post one of the sunset shots. The sky was beautiful and the sillhouettes of the trees and foreground plants made it a gorgeous capture. Though my camera indicated that I should meter it as 1/30, I set it to 1/200 to keep the sillhouette sharp, yet retain the color of the sky.
Can you spot the moon, as well as the spider in the image?
Photographed with a Caon EOS 5D Mark II, and Canon EF 24-105mm F4 IS USM L Lens. Handheld.
