Macros are addictive. As I began playing around with the borrowed Macro Lens last week, so many subjects started to show up everywhere.


This one was particularly interesting. Though called a Fly, this one did not fly for almost 3 hours. My first shot of him was around 12:00 noon, and the last one was around 3:00pm. He was just there on this twig all that time. Probably sleeping. Probably drunk.


The first few shots I did were handheld, which themselves were pretty good. But I realized the need for a more stable base, and hence set it on my tripod.


The result was worth it.
