hard to choose which one my favorite would be because they are all great, but if I HAD TO choose I guess the last one on the right - or maybe 2nd one in from the right.

All !!!!!! And what about the kit I asked you ?! wouldn't it be a good idea ?

  4. Kasaa 78 months ago | reply

Thanx so much! Yeah, keeping all and choosing another one everyday sounds really great :-)

I've been thinking about your kit idea. I really like the idea, but I'm not really sure yet... What should I include? Cardstock for the cover and the pockets - should the pockets be precut or cut-them-yourself? BTW For me cutting pockets is the most boring part about it - I wish I could find a service for that.

And should I include patterned paper to match the pockets color or would people rather get their own patterned paper? And how about the glue - you need special bookbinding glue, so that should probably be included too....

    Hi again sweetie ;-)

I think the best thing is to propose a plan (pattern ??! ) and customers will cut them selves their paper ! because it's a kit and you only offer the "how to do" with materials and people have to make all by them self !! If people don't want to cut and glue,and... so they have to buy one already made in your shop ahahahahaha !!

It's like a pride to be able to create something from a to z with a tutorial ;-) So Don't prepare the work ! It would be to easy !!

And for the glue if I well remember you can use the glue used for decopatch and other collages that is good enough for bookbinding !!
I'm sure everyone have this glue at home (I do ahahahaha) ! I also made some menu journals for a restaurant I used the glue called vernish glue or vynil glue that is perfect too to glue the fabric used to do bookbinding !! I will search for the picture to show you the menu ;-)

Thanx so much paperlovers, tudo de trapo, Ouch! and MiKiMono!

@Sandrine Great points - so no cutting for me :-) Thanx! Is the decopath glue really strong too? I use different mixtures of planatol bookbinding glue

Anyways, I'm definitely gonna think about it and maybe I can use my vacation next week to make a plan...
