There are a few times when Owen gives me a look that just makes me love him even more. I swear he knows what he's doing.
It was the first time we've had a houseful in quite a while, and since Owen has joined us. He was actually kind of crabby about half the time, but I think he was over stimulated. He got a petrified look at the first group of people that came and stood over him. From there it seemed he was either happy time or crabby time. Late in the evening we realized he hadn't filled his diaper all day, and that's usually the source of crabbiness. So we "inspired" him, and he pooped, and he was very happy the rest of the evening, spending some quality alone time in his crib enjoying his peaceful surroundings before finally dozing off. This was during that nice quiet time, when he was wide-eyed and happy, just looking at everything in his crib and eating his hand.
