The Reedbed

Reedbed at Loch Cill Chriosd (Kilchrist - the Cell, or Church, of Christ), Strathaird, Isle of Skye.

For those of you who are not familiar with the Isle of Skye, the mountain in the background is Blaven - Blà Bheinn in Gaelic, which (I'm told) translates to "Warm Mountain" There are a variety of other translations, as you no doubt will be told from time to time, but each one of them is in doubt (despite what it might say in Wikipaedia)!

Notwithstanding the dramatic beauty of the Cuillin in general, Blaven (however it is spelt and whatever its name means) is the most beautiful in my view .. absolutely nothing to touch it!
