Gas Station

After the funeral, Nancy and I took a quick trip to my home town of Lakin, Kansas twenty four miles down Hwy 50. After seeing the houses where I lived as a kid and an interesting historical site, we were chased back to Garden City by an small but intense storm.

After temporarily outrunning the rain, I looked for a place to capture the crimson colors of the sunset under the storm clouds.

If all you have is a gas station, use the station! ;-) (Select "Picture My Kansas")

We do have a trip to the abandoned factory at Mildred coming up on 10/1 and I believe one space is still available
