Recapturing the Brown Thrasher

There is something about these birds that I find really interesting. I think it is the yellow color of eyes and the black markings on their breasts, as well as the length of their tails. So tonight when I got to my car, I noticed they were on the same fence where they were a few mornings ago. I watched them for quite a while and they are feeding their young who are in a nest in an evergreen tree across the road from the parking area. I'm pretty excited about the possibility of seeing the fledgelings at some point.
