Fenced Light Show
For Fenced Friday! No movie showing that night at the Kanopolis Drive-In Theater, but there was a pretty awesome light show going on inside of the fence. I had no idea there was a drive-in theater in this small town, but discovered it when exploring. The sign on the other side of the drive-in indicates they are opening for the season tonight. Seeing this brought back so many memories of good times when my Dad would load up the station wagon with my family and take us to one of the drive-in theaters in Topeka. Built in 1952, the Kanopolis Drive-In Theater holds 743 cars. That seems like an awful lot of cars to me and I wonder if they ever fill the place up since Kanopolis' population is only about 500.
