These little fairy-wrens live in family groups where the individuals depend on each other. Each individual is specialised in one form of search for food - in shrubs, in the open, in taller plants. When they pull through, they cover a larger area, often 5-8 individuals spreading out.


But they are relatively frequently seen being physically social as well, in particular when young have just left the nest and are still being fed by the adult birds.
