Tenaya Before the Flood...

Just before the skies opened up, I photographed these wildflowers along Tioga Pass Road just east of Tenaya Lake. The wind was already blowing and I could hear thunder cracking in the clouds overhead. In a matter of moments, this whole area was being pelted with marble-sized hail and instant waterfalls started flowing over the granite above me. Nature's beauty and awesome fury in simultaneity...
