    neighbor says this is related to ginseng, but I'm skeptical. She says it's the Thai version of Ginseng and the roots and leaves can be eaten for medicinal benefit. I've uploaded about 10 pics, some with red berries

    update: I'm pretty sure this is Talinum paniculatum 土人参
