Japanese Yen

Some Japanese money! I find that the 1 yen coins are as light as tin foil, and they are really hard to separate in your wallet because the different coins are of similar size and weight. I think that's why all the stores have little plates that you can tip your coins onto to count them.

Not like the English coins that were designed for ease of use - each of the coin 'pairs' have the same kind of colour/thickness/shape which are different from the other pairs but 2ps are double the size of 1ps, 10ps are double the size of 5ps, 50ps are double the size of 20ps, £2 are double the size of £1.
