This is the very first Brooklyn Critical Mass flier, for July 9th, 2004. The flier was created by Tüba, but I couldn't help adding Curious George and my website with rubber stamps and red ink. This particular image is from the book Curious George Rides a Bike

"Curious George Saves The Day," an exhibit of the works of Margret and H.A. Rey, is touring the country and is now at the Contemporary Jewish Museum in San Francisco. I saw this exhibit at New York's Jewish Museum and it was fantastic. Bikes are a huge part of the story: the Reys fled the Nazis on bicycles, carrying the original artwork with them, and had a lifelong love of biking thereafter. As did George.
