    congrats ... how good was the light for this? we're between mt's and the ocean here in the Illawarra and we just don't get sunsets like this, excellent =]

    Glad you caught it I was thinking the next morning that I should have caught the last of the old before catching the new =]

    @e0nn: Thank you. Actually the light was good - barely. Just look at the properties. I was lucky to get that shot. The only one I made on a 2 1/2 hour walk. The day was frosty and the light rather dull - until the sun was setting and airing its orange red colours for a few minutes. Our area here is flat, but it's not very often you happen to see the setting sun instead of some hiding clouds. Happy New Year.

    Wonderful contrast between cold and warm tones. I do not know if it would be better balanced if the sun were to one side. Anyway I like it.
