Asleep in a lecture

Sometimes I think I got more sleep in this room than I did my dorm room as an undergraduate. I took general and organic chemistry here – both of which were offered at 8:30 AM. As an undergraduate, 8:30 AM was an unfathomable hour at which to start class. Not only was I able to sleep through the lectures, but the roof of this enormous, octagonal lecture hall was under constant repair – much to the consternation of our lecturers. I slept like the infamous Mr. van Winkle; ironically, much of what I do now has to do with things that I likely missed the first time around in this room – I believe that is Karma.
