Sir Christopher and the Dragon

Sir Christopher, while passing through a village, heard that there was a dragon nearby who was forcing the villagers to give him a virgin every month to feast upon. Without delay Sir Christopher rode with great haste to the dragon's lair just in time to engage him in combat before he could devour his helpless victim.
