    Whoa, man! This is great! I love, no, LOVE the fine detail and exquisite light. Definitely up to the best wave shots, though different from the majority.

    Nice job Justin. I think what sets this apart from others I have seen from here is all the detail in the rock and the contrast with the darker areas.

    Great capture but easy with an amazing subject like that. I was lucky to get a pass to hike the wave back in december the light was never magic though. Did you have to hike out in the dark? not an easy place to do that for sure.

    RedSeatPhoto You don't have to hike out in the dark to get this image as it's late afternoon light. You can get to your car from this spot in 90 minutes, with more light to spare!
