I'd been thinking about another trip to this part of Felixstowe for a while but had been waiting for tide, sunset and weather to all get along nicely together. The opportunity arose last night when it finally stopped raining so Parrish and I headed down there on a very last minute trip.

I spent most of my time trying to avoid getting the docks in the frame but as all the cloud had moved in that direction I finally gave up and composed a couple of shots to include the docks... they were my favourites of the night!

I like the way the posts frame the docks and the sunset reflections are great... it's not often that Felixstowe docks look that interesting!

I think the docks add a lot to it

Skidzey Don't worry I think a return is on the cards when the tide is higher, there's plenty of room for improvement on my shots from the night

Works really well. The lights from the docks compliments the golden sunlight in the sky nicely. Like the foreground wooden struts too. Got some of those myself, but the overall shots are nowhere near as good as this.

I like the feel of this Justin. Your long exposure is perfect. What a beautiful image with that soft light and smooth water.

Love it, I've seen the inside of enough dockyards around the world and none are framed as well as this. Stunning work Justin.
