According to these guys, www.coa.uncc.edu/ccds/bridge/amgen_helix_precedent.pdf
The transformation of a DNA double helix into a bridge is revealed with the Helix Pedestrian Bridge, the signature gateway to Amgen’s Helix Research Campus. The bridge spans over 11 active railway tracks, providing access to public transportation for employees as well as public access to a popular fishing pier and two waterfront parks. The bridge was built for pedestrian use and is handicapped accessible through two glass elevators located on each side of the bridge.
Built in 2004, this amazing piece of archetecture is part of Amgen’s 750,000 sq.ft, $625 million Helix Research Campus located on the Elliott Bay waterfront. The bridge itself cost Amgen Inc. $10,000,000....amazing
