Wow man! What a great perspective and fantastic night shot! I really don't think I have ever seen a shot from this angle. Nicely done.

Nice. I took a daylight picture from almost the same spot. Didn't think about a night shot.

      WOW... i gotta do a night-photography workshop with U!!!
(so how much of this is manual camera? and how much is PS???)

CalStar2k1 - This particular shot was *almost* straight out of the camera. There was some glare from the window that I had to remove and I probably (don't have my work flow in front of me) bumped the saturation a tad and a few other minor adjustments. If you are on FriendFeed, I recently setup a SF Photography Group to try and get people together for photowalks within the Bay Area.

how long were you up there? I've done the same thing but I had a feeling I was being watched by security so I didn't spend much time there.

I was up there with another photographer/friend for a few hours. A few people (maintenance and housekeeping) walked by, but didn't say anything. We were with tripods and beer (in a bag) and had no issues. I was really surprised actually. I really want to go back and give it another go at some point.
