Intergenerational Scaffolding

Building the cathedrals of the mind.

Stunning and the stained-glass is gorgeous! Thanks for showing us Steve.

thanks y'all. I love the resplendent softness of organic form, expressed with cold stone and cut glass.

For some reason, I see a hyperspace bypass... and think of Wade Davis, National Geographic photographer, speaking at TED. He described, with a mythic intensity, his discovery of indigenous cultures sheltered from modernity...and the potent hallucinogen Ayahuasca:

“It’s like being shot out of a rifle barrel lined with baroque paintings and landing in a sea of electricity. It’s a complete dissolution of reality."
  • Ben Fischler 8y

    Just brilliant.

I mean really, how many architects could capture the leap to hyperspace in stone?

    ...NOT MANY.

As for Ayahuasca... Yeah, total temporal collapse. Plus you get to see the DMT elves!

    =D

Steve Blank just got a photo of how it must look during morning ceremonies,
with the magic light splashing paint on the canvas…

If a broken heart is the price to pay for giving such an amount of grace, beauty and joy to the world, I can't but think it was worth it.

Thanks to the woman who broke Gaudi's heart, so that he could free himself from the confinements of personal love and give himself fully to his craft and thus, give his love entirely to the world.

What lens did you use. I'm planing my equipment for an April visit. Great shot. Thanks.
