The BBC is back, filming at Buck’s.
Like the traffic on 101, the number of film crews showing up for breakfast at Buck’s is a barometer of the Silicon Valley bustle.
And it was a déjà vu moment. The questions about the Internet opportunities sounded eerily familiar. Cut and paste ‘Skype’ for ‘Hotmail’ in the conversation….
If the BBC is any sign, the Brits are still trying to figure out this whole ‘tolerance of failure’ thing. Many of the questions were along the lines of “Don’t you get stressed out when most of the startup companies fail?”
After discussing the bidirectional essence of Web 2.0, I had to make it manifest, and so I whipped out my camera to surprise them. I like the juxtaposition with the camera in the background. =)
