    The lines are most beautiful!

    A solar panel sounds nice.

Did you get to talk to Fisker? Was he showing specifics re: the drive train? Do you believe his numbers (MPG, electric range, hybrid range)? Did you sit in it? Comfortable (looks small)? How tight is that back seat? Do you think they can get it to market on schedule?

Soooo, am I the only one curious why this Tesla investor would post a pic of a Fisker, particularly given recent news? (Or is my comment what Jon Stewart would refer to as aaaawwwk-waaard!).

The blur of the solar panel is very cool.

And I'm still anxious for the Tesla showroom to open up down the street!

Simple. This is a good photo of a very sexy looking car.

    :)

Did you get a ride? It's always good to see what the other guys are doing!!!

It seems whenever I hear about something new and cool in the news, a day or two later, there's a photo of it (and usually of you!) with said something cool. Some days, I seriously, seriously want your life. :-)

Gorgeous, but have you heard any updates on a Tesla 'daily driver'?

  11. jurvetson 84 months ago | reply

msamaclean: not sure what you mean by a daily driver. I see Teslas quite often as the engineering team is driving them continuously. Or do you mean the sedan model, code named Whitestar?

sbove and aminorjourney: This is an external model of the car without motor or much of anything inside.

    Great
(that of "want" is a really deep comment. I agree)

    Hi,

could I use this image for a photovoltaic-based research poster - would provide attribution of course ? Heriot-Watt University, andy.liken@pet.hw.ac.uk, looking for a high-res image if you can provide ? Any help much appreciated - thanks, Andy.

I meant to, of course, say thermoelectric, not PV ...

sure! All of my photos are free to use forever with a simple photo credit:

And good news recently for this car - they raised $150M of new investment which was a prerequisite for the big DOE loan.
