Monthly Scavenger Hunt - May '11

Strawberry Fields Forever

What were the odds that in the month this category ended up on the MSH list, this Aussie would be on holiday in the right country to get this shot?

Was wandering through Central Park the other day. It was raining, so my friend Fiza and I ducked into the gift shop. Then my eyes fell on the Strawberry Fields merchandise and I was all, "OMG I need photos there for the MSH!" I'm not that familiar with Central Park, so didn't know this place was there. Hadn't looked at a map of the park or anything, we were just wandering aimlessly. Discovered it purely by chance because the rain drove us into the gift shop. Score! ;-)

Strawberry Fields is a 2.5-acre (10,000 m2) landscaped section in New York City's Central Park that is dedicated to the memory of the musician John Lennon. It is named after the Beatles song "Strawberry Fields Forever".
