It's that time of year again... Lubbers lubbing

Explore Jul 14, 20010 #54

It was a cold winter and a slow start for hatching out but now, a bit early, the Lubbers are getting ready for next year!

I've had an astounding close look at their life process this year, even catching them shedding their skin step by step, popping out head first then pulling their abdomen free segment by segment. All this work is paying off now as they prepare to lay eggs in shallow holes for next season.
