Gorges de la Nesque, Provence, France

The Gorges de la Nesque is a stunning cycling and driving route starting in Villes-sur-Auzon just 10 kms from Bédoin – the start of the mighty Mont Ventoux, also known a road biking holy ground.

The Gorges route is a signposted circuit, 22km kms of modest climbing (averaging just 2% – so not hard). But so beautiful. It’s the perfect route for someone wanting the enjoyment of riding (or driving) along fun cliff roads, but isn't interested in tough alpine climbing. The Gorges de la Nesque's beautiful geology boats a wild canyon, fantastic rocks overhanging an abyss, all pierced by a road that weaves through tinnels and belvedere viewpoints. Awesome !
