This photo was taken by a camera lofted into the air by a kite during World Wide Kite Aerial Photography Week (and a half). This is the MacArthur Bridge to Belle Isle (an island park in the Detroit River) and part of Gabriel Richard Park at the eastern end of the Detroit River Walk.
After these shots were taken, I walked down the plaza, near the bridge, with my kite and camera over the river to try to get some straight-down shots of the bridge, however, unknown to me on the ground, the memory card in the camera had filled up. My friend Ed and I also talked with fishermen down there. They were very interested in my aerial photography.
