This "portrait" is actually a candid shot that I took at a wedding. The swirled background is actually the hair of the girls grandmother who was knelt down beside her. I "smudged" forever in Photoshop to get it to look like that, but I can't decide if it's still distracting...

    I can appreciate it took a lot of effort to get this background from the original, but I do find it rather distracting. Still, one cannot deny that it's a great capture of her wonderful expression and poise, and yes, it does have that certain classic feel to it.
