Seeing an old Coca-Cola sign like this one at the Hob Nob Restaurant in Nashville, Indiana transports me back to my childhood in the 1950's. Signs like this were everywhere -- a "Coke" cost a nickel and came in that classic 6 1/2 ounce bottle. If you went to the local "drugstore", also known as "Hefty's", you could get Cherry Cokes, Chocolate Cokes, and Vanilla Cokes in a glass the shape of the one shown on the sign above, AND you had to have some peanut butter crackers to go with your Coke. With any luck at all, that girl you had your eye on might just wander in while you were there.....
