The "For Sale" Miniseries
"Mysterious Morning" is the twentieth photo in a miniseries that I recently started. Over the next few weeks, I'll be covering all of my photographs available as prints on my website. I'll be uploading one every weekday (except Friday), as usual, but you'll find a lot more information on the photographs themselves - I might sneak in a few tutorials, quick tips, etc. It'll be great for new and old photographers alike - If you have any friends who might be interested, be sure to let them know! I'll be updating everything on my blog as well as my other social networks, so if you would prefer to follow it there, just click on one of the links above. :)
About "Mysterious Morning"
"Mysterious Morning" was taken at the Merewether Ocean Baths, Newcastle. Merewether is a suburb of Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia, located 3 km from Newcastle's central business district with a population of around 10,000. The suburb stretches 3 km from Merewether Beach in the east to Adamstown in the west.
Taking "Mysterious Morning"
Nikon D90 | Sigma 10-20mm
30 sec | f/20 | ISO100 | 11mm
Similar process to yesterday's photo today. This time for sunrise - I took a range of exposures, covering the large dynamic range.
Processing "Mysterious Morning"
This photograph was the subject of an article I wrote on post-processing - it explains in detail how I processed this photo. Check it out! :)
Because of this, further editing wasn't really needed, however I did tweak some colour balance settings just to make the three images blend a little more realistically. Enjoy :)
