Acorn Cup Mud Spiral

A lovely Spring morning out doing some land art. I sat for a while absorbing my surroundings deciding on what I might make.

Life is beginning to emerge again in the wood but not enough to use for land art. I noticed a small acorn cup on the ground and wanted to use it for something. I scoured to find more but it was the only one I could see.

I collected mud, made it slighly more fluid with some water and there were plenty of trees to choose from. I made a mud spiral dipping the little acorn cup in and using it's perfect circle. It soon went soggy and collapsed so I am going to have another go with some acorn cups that I have already collected from last year!
