Halloween 2009 - The Making of the Snow Globe Costume
Watch, in copious, narcissistic detail, as I turn a pile of foam, hot glue, spray paint, thread, and acetate into my daughter's snow globe costume. It took a full three-day weekend, start to finish. Feel free to copy, improve upon, and otherwise enjoy.

This is the costume featured in Time Out Kids New York's 2009 article Homemade Halloween Costumes.

For those who've asked or wondered, my kids ALWAYS pick the costume, not me. I make what they want, I don't talk them into wearing what I'd like to make.

Oh, and I'm not an artist, just a dad who's not afraid to try stuff. You can do this too!
