400 Years

Baler town in Aurora was founded by by Spanish Catholic missionaries in 1609. The Baler 400 Years monument, erected in 2009 with four 40-foot pillars each representing 100 years of the town’s history, may be found at the town plaza along Quezon St. A signage in front of the monument, spells out the town’s name in big red letters and seemingly screams for photo shoot opportunities.
